Leafcruncher, Son of Leafcruncher is a russet love story, an orange base with 2 glazes to get a beautiful multilayered colour that shines in the light and recalls glorious days of crisp walks & crunching all the leaves as you go. With strong red & orange tones this is a colour that mixes well with other warm tones & will really pop against colours like cool greys, blues or purples.
This base is my idea of perfection, the incredible lustre and drape of BFL & Silk with the subtle halo & incredible softness of cashmere. There's also magic here, to prevent any listlessness from too much drape the springy twist gives this yarn a bounce & life that makes the most glorious garments - shining lustre, wonderful stitch definition, perfect drape to flatter the body & enough liveliness to have a structured and well wearing garment. This is something very special & will set any yarn lover’s heart fluttering.
Recommended care: Due to the silk and cashmere content we recommend hand washing to prevent felting, shrinkage and to preserve the vibrancy of the dye.
While we do our best to keep our colours consistent each hand dyed yarn is one of a kind so we advise alternating skeins in a multi-skein project. See FAQs for more information.
