Luscious Laceweight - BFL/Silk

Fibre: 80% Superwash BFL / 20% Silk (2 ply construction)

Weight: Laceweight / 2Ply / ~30wpi

Meterage: 800m / 875y per 100g / 3.5 Oz skein

Recommended needle size: 1.5mm - 5.0mm depending on the fabric you require for your project. Please note that all fabric laceweight yields is delicate compared to thicker knitted fabric, 5mm needles will give a very very light & open fabric but the structure will be less robust than the tighter fabric achieved with smaller needles.

This beautiful luxurious laceweight is such a glorious mix you really do get the best of everything - the fine fabric of a laceweight yarn, strength, low pilling and superb stitch definition from the BFL, lustre from both the BFL and silk, incredible drape and year round wear whatever you make, from open lacy shawls or wraps to stunning garments. This mix of fibre features so often here because I adore it, BFL and silk compliment each other so well and have the perfect attributes to last in great condition for years when properly cared for. When you find something so perfect why wouldn’t you share it with everyone?!
